Founded in 2020, Bearhug Bakehouse is known for revolutionizing the way people eat and enjoy food. We take pride in our ability to create the most sumptuous organic kai influenced by the heritage of Māori, our roots, and proud to share them with everybody just here at the Garden City, Christchurch.
Bearhug Bakehouse was founded by Mr. Wil and Mrs. Kate Bear; the Bear Couple has always liked to eat, drink, and create amazingly nutritious foods together, while keeping themselves fit and healthy. Our hobby quickly led us to opening this cafe, a place where people from all over the world can meet to enjoy our special dishes and comfortable atmosphere, and be inspired by what our humble but rich culture can share.
